The toughest competition in NASA's season this year will take place September 11-14, 2008 at Mid-Ohio. The 3rd NASA Championships will allow competitors from all over the country to battle for the most coveted National Champion title in their respective classes at one of the most demanding and prestigious road courses in the country. For drivers, this will be a unique opportunity to measure their skills against the best of the best. Spectators will have a chance to see the finest racing action NASA has to offer as well as the opportunity to participate in special events throughout the week designed to give them a taste of the action.

This week-long event will also include peripheral activities such as manufacturers Auto X, Tech Seminars, Go Kart racing, Kids Activities, Exhibition Auto X/Rally X, Drifting, Remote Control Car Racing and Slot Car Racing, Food, Concerts, Drive-in Movies and much more.

Thursday, September 11 :	Practice
Friday, September 12 :	Qualifying / Qualifying Races
Saturday, September 13 :	Qualifying / Qualifying Races
Sunday, September 14 :	Championship Races

Competition events will include traditional road racing, time trials, and a potential rallysprint.

Requirements to participate in NASA Championships:

Time Trials - See 2008 TT Rules (www.nasa-tt.com)

Racing Classes

1) The driver must earn points in at least five official races (not weekends).

2) Mixing of any national classes is allowed.

3) Once minimum qualifications are earned, drivers may compete in multiple classes at the National Championships.

4) At least four entries must be received by September 1st, 2008 for a class to be eligible.
