RICHMOND, CA-August 21, 2006. The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) is pleased to announce that Cypress Auto will offer $1,000 in cash contingency rewards to top finishers in the Factory Five Challenge at the inaugural NASA Championship event at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on September 14th-17th, 2006.
Cypress Auto President Mike Percey said, “The car enthusiasts who choose to build Factory Five race and street cars are a very important part of our business. We do a very good job meeting all of their chassis and drivetrain needs. This program was a great way for our business to say “Thanks” to customers that allow us the opportunity to keep delivering the same great service they have become accustomed to receiving.”
The cash award program will apply to the FFR class at the NASA Championship event. The program will award drivers a cash payout in the amount of $500 for first place, $300 for second place, and $200 for third place if there are ten or more starters in their class. Competitors must use Cypress Auto products during the championship race weekend and run 2 Cypress Auto stickers (one on each side of vehicle) supplied by Cypress Auto at time of purchase. If you already have Cypress Auto parts on your vehicle and need the required stickers, please contact Cypress Auto.
