Griggs Racing Products Offering $6,000
in Contingency Rewards

RICHMOND, CA-April 5, 2006. The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) is pleased to announce that Griggs Racing Products will offer a generous $6,000 contingency reward to the top finishers in the Camaro Mustang Challenge, American Iron and American Iron Extreme classes at the inaugural NASA Championship event at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on September 14th-17th, 2006.

Griggs Racing Products President and Founder Bruce Griggs said, “We want to reward those making the intensive effort required to effectively demonstrate in heads up competition the performance capability that our products deliver in media visible racing series. We feel NASA’s National Championship program is potentially the best place to do this. Time will tell, but I feel the Mid-Ohio event may prove to be the Indy 500 of Amateur Road Racing.”

Competitors must use an entire Griggs Racing GR40 Chassis system during the championship race weekend, run Griggs Racing GR40 stickers, and meet additional requirements that can be found on American Iron Racing’s website, Click Here to view. The contingency program will award drivers a cash payout in the amount of $2,500 for first place in AI, $2,500 for first place in AIX, and $1,000 for first place in CMC.
