RICHMOND, CA-August 30, 2006. The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) is pleased to announce that PlanetMiata.com will offer $2,100 in cash contingency rewards to top finishers at the inaugural NASA Championship event at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on September 14th-17th, 2006.

The cash award program will apply to the SM & SM2 classes at the NASA National Championship event. The program will award drivers a cash and gift certificate payout in the amount of $500 ($250 cash, $250 gift certificate) for first place, $300 ($150 cash, $150 gift certificate) for second place, $200 ($100 cash, $100 gift certificate) for third place and a random driver in each of the two classes will be awarded a $50 gift certificate if there are ten or more starters in their class. In the event that a class has less than 10 starters, PlanetMiata.com will award 1 random driver with $100 cash, and another random driver with $100 gift certificate.

Competitors must prominently display a PlanetMiata.com License Plate on the rear of the car during competition at the NASA Championship event to be eligible for this program. Please stop by the PlanetMiata.com trailer to pick up your license plate. The trailer will be located in the paddock area during the Championship event. The license plates are also available prior to the event by contacting PlanetMiata.com. No PlanetMiata.com employee or associate is eligible for these prizes.
