RICHMOND, CA-April 5, 2006. The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) is pleased to announce that Maximum Motorsports of San Luis Obispo, CA will offer $7,300 in contingency prizes to the top finishers in the American Iron and American Iron Extreme classes at the inaugural NASA Championship event at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on September 14th-17th, 2006.
Maximum Motorsports CEO Chuck Schwynoch said, "We race as part of our new product development program. We choose to race with NASA because, at every level, it's a great group of people. We are offering contingency prizes as a thank you to our racing customers for the support they have given us. We're looking forward to NASA's first national Championship event."
The contingency program will award drivers a cash payout in the amount of $500 for first place, $400 for second place, $300 for third place, and $250 for fourth place, in each class, with additional amounts of up to $550 available to each top finisher, based on the number of Maximum Motorsports parts used on the vehicle.
