RICHMOND, CA-July 25, 2006. The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) is pleased to announce that Phil’s Tire Service will offer $1,800 in gift certificate contingency rewards to top finishers in the GTS Challenge at the inaugural NASA Championship event at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on September 14th-17th, 2006.

Phil’s Tire Service owner Phil said, “To be competitive, tires are of the utmost importance. We are happy to be able to supply all the NASA racers coming to the Championship event with the chance to get top quality trackside support. We hope this program benefits the GTS racers and look forward to the action we know we will see at the Championship event!”

The gift certificate award program will apply to GTSU, GTS1, GTS2, GTS3, GTS4, and GTS5 classes at the NASA Championship event. The program will award drivers a gift certificate in the amount of $150 for first place, $100 for second place, and $50 for third place if there are ten or more starters in their class. If the class has 7 starters, first and second receive the gift certificate. In the event there are only 5-6 starters, first place will receive the $150 gift certificate.

Competitors must display 2 Phil’s Tire Service stickers (one on each side of vehicle) during the championship race weekend supplied by Phil’s Tire Service at the Championship event. If you wish to take part in this program, please visit Phil’s Tire Service when you arrive at the Championship Event and inform them that you will be taking part in the program and will require the stickers.
